Join us Thursday, May 2nd for a tahriri workshop hosted by Eman Toom (@hintoftatreez) focusing on the history of the Palestinian embroidery form and popular motifs using the traditional technique. There will be a guided stiching portion and students will leave with the skills they need to stich on their own.

Tahriri stitching represents a distinct style within Palestinian embroidery, contrasting with the more commonly known Tatreez technique. Eman Toom is a Tatreez artist and teacher based in San Diego, CA. Through @hintoftatreez, Eman aims to celebrate the beauty of Palestinian embroidery — one stich at a time. 🪡
